Bedir savaşında müslümanlar galip gelince, yahudiler: Bu, Tevrat&#039;ta kendisine zafer vâdedilen peygamberdir, dediler. Fakat Uhud savaşından sonra tamamen değiştiler ve antlaşmayı bozdular. Bunların lideri Ka&#039;b b. Eşref, kırk süvari ile Mekke&#039;ye gidip müslümanların aleyhine Ebu Süfyan&#039;la ittifak yaptı. Bunun üzerine Hz. Peygamber, Ka&#039;b&#039;ın süt kardeşi Muhammed b. Mesleme&#039;ye emir vererek bir gece onu evinde öldürttü. Bundan sonra Allah&#039;ın Resûlü bir kıta asker ile Nadîr oğullarının köylerini kuşattı. Yurtlarını bırakıp gitmelerini emretti. Hz. Peygamber&#039;le anlaşma yapmak istemeleri üzerine kuşatma kaldırıldı. Çokları Şam&#039;a, Eriha&#039;ya, Ezreât&#039;a, Hire&#039;ye birkaç ev de Hayber&#039;e gittiler.
